Coming to us from the renowned Guy Lewis collection we present this stunning 1978 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II. The Guy Lewis collection is widely known for having only the highest quality and most original motorcars. This Silver Shadow II lives up to those standards and even higher. It is the most well documented Rolls-Royce we have ever had. We have a thick binder that has every record of the car from its original build to nearly everything that has been done to it in its 46 year life. This is a car that has been lovingly maintained with no sacrifices since it was built.

This Rolls-Royce was originally Caribbean Blue with Dark Blue Connolly hides, a gray headliner with Dark Dlue Carpets bound in light blue. The exterior was complemented with Dark Dlue double fine lines. It was originally priced at $56,215.

In 1992 it was repainted and the silver paint was added, making it a stunning two tone color combination. The Silver over Caribbean blue paint scheme is magnificent, and lithis car receives compliments everywhere it goes. It still retains twin thin dark blue finelines. The wheel covers are color coordinated to the car and look like new. It rides on Hankook tires that are quiet, ride beautifully, and are very stable at speed.

One of the previous owners had replaced the original 8-Track player with a modern stereo with a built-in CD player… As in the original spec, the electric antenna is powered by the stereo and it works beautifully.

Originally sold as part of a promotion to central Bank of Colorado, it was ultimately delivered in March 1979 to T.R Laubhen Of Follett, Texas at the time it had 2929 miles on it.

In 1983 with 25,000 miles it was sold to a new owner in St. Louis Missouri.

In 1985 it was sold to a new owner in Kansas, at the time it had 33,000 miles on it and he kept it until 2001 when it had over 61,000 miles on it.

Its new owner also from the same town in Kansas kept it until December 2009 when he sold it with over 65,000 miles on it.

In April 2010 Guy Lewis purchased it with 67,000 miles. it now has nearly 76,000 miles and we have records throughout its life.

For us to get the car ready for sale we had performed:

• Oil filter service
• Coolant service
• Repair the radio antenna
• Replace driver side rear window motor motor
• Rebuilt both carburetors
• Replaced the fuel pump
• The work we had performed was completed on May 10, 2024.

Driving this Silver Shadow II is as impressive as looking at it. It starts immediately as shown in the video. Idles so smoothly you can barely feel it running. It accelerates rapidly without any hesitation and all while the air conditioning is blowing hard and Ice Cold. The seats still have their firmness, and of course, the electric motors work in all positions.
As expected, this is a no excuse Silver Shadow II that its owner can drive and enjoy with pride and reliability.
