This is one of the finest examples of a W116 Mercedes-Benz you can buy. This California car is well documented with a very thorough service history showing the original owner took meticulous care of it throughout its life. Driving this car is an absolute pleasure. The engine is extremely smooth, the shifts are barely perceptible, and the steering and suspension are much tighter then you would ever imagine in a 41-year-old automobile. There is virtually no play in the steering, and it's handling is very crisp.

This highly original Milanbraun Metallic with saffron text is truly impressive. The body has no rust on it whatsoever, the paint gleams, as does all of the chrome. Inside, this car is truly a time capsule. Everything inside of this car is impressive. The saffron text upholstery shows no wear. The seats are still supportive and firm. There is no cracking on the dash or door panels. The wood veneer is all magnificent with no cracks or fading. Even the carpeting still looks as impressive as it did 40 years ago. When we first saw this car, we were truly amazed by its condition.

This car originally came with steel wheels and painted to match hubcaps. In 1976 alloy wheels were a factory option. We have fitted this car with brand-new bunt alloy wheels. We are selling it with the alloy wheels as well as the original steel wheels and hubcaps. So two sets of wheels will come with the car.
