This is a magnificent and extremely well maintained 1968 Bentley T. The Bentley variant of the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow, the T is an extremely rare motorcar. In the late 1960's less than 10% of production was Bentley. Very few of these cars were sold in the US. In the late 1960's it's estimated to be fewer than 50. Here is an opportunity to own one of the rare classics.

SBX6330 is a very well documented example. We have the original build sheet, factory inspection sheets, as well as service history from the past 20 years. Having come from North Carolina, this car has been driven and enjoyed. Thus being very well maintained. Painted in beautiful Sand over Sable two tone, its was repainted in 1990. A professional who did it with care did being that is, the paint has held up beautifully. Inside the Beige leather has been refinished, it looks and feels like new. The Fawn cloth headliner is original. It's tight and holds it original form with no sagging or separating. The same for the Cumberland Stone carpets. Both are still in excellent condition and will last for many more years.

Upon starting the engine, it starts up immediately with no hesitation. It has an incredibly smooth idle and can barley be heard when its running. Its absolutely incredible how a 45-year-old motorcar with 122,000 miles can run this beautifully. On our first drive, we were thoroughly delighted. The electric shift mechanism performs flawlessly and once in drive you are underway! The car has plenty of power, has no hesitation with almost imperceptible shifts. The modern radial tires have no vibration and are beautifully balanced. Its stable, smooth, and sure footed. The original steering wheel was replaced with one from a T2. It's a smaller diameter and leather covered. It's a nicer feel than the original and feels perfectly natural.

Every switch in the car works as it should. It even retains its original horn! Every window, seat control, light, door locks al work and performs as they should. The air conditioning is ice cold and all of the servos appear to be working correctly. The original cruise control has been replace. The replacement unit it fitted where the original was and it works perfectly. We only tried it for a few moments but everything appears to be working perfectly. The original radio was replaced with a more modern Alpine unit. It works as it should as does the radio antenna. Just as it did when new, the radio antenna switch is working and operates independent from the radio. Because this car was driven and not a garage queen, everything was maintained so the car can be used daily. We are confident in this Bentley T.
