1989 is the final year for the classic and traditional W107 body style from Mercedes-Benz. The final year of the 560 SL is regarded as the most desirable and most highly collectible. The example that we are presenting was sold new in Ontario, Canada. It's a one owner car that has been meticulously maintained to the highest standards. In 2014 the owner bought the car from Ontario to his home in Naples, Florida where it remained. From the service records we have received it's evident that no expense was spared in maintaining his prized possession. Now showing 97,000 km, that equates to just over 60,000 miles. As with all cars at Pedigree we do an extensive inspection and service to ensure the car is ready to be driven and enjoyed. To get this car ready for sale we performed:

• Oil and filter change
• Replace air conditioning relay
• Replace air conditioning compressor and recharge the system
• Replace air conditioning manifold seals
• Replace vacuum feeder hose
• Reinstall hood pad
• Repair shifter panel and replace window switches
• Replace air conditioning auxiliary fan relay

This car is all original. The Smoke Silver paint gleams and it's close to flawless and shows only minor patina. The convertible top is original and shows very little signs of wear. It is clearly evident that it has been stored correctly. The hardtop has no blemishes and sits on a hardtop stand that was an accessory from Mercedes-Benz that is included with the purchase of this car. This car also has a very rare Mercedes-Benz Wind deflector. Inside, all of the chrome trim is very impressive, there's no cracks on the dashboard or the wood and the leather is free of any cracks and is very impressive. Every light and switch work, it's hard to believe that this car is 32 years old. The Michelin tires are in excellent condition, and the spare tire looks as if it's never been on the ground.
