According to Carfax, its previous owners lived in Connecticut and it was serviced at Lexus of Westport and later on Lexus of Greenwich. When we received the car we did our usual thorough inspection. It only needed an oil/filter change and rear brake pads. Everything else on the car was up to date and in perfect working order. Such minor service needed is a testament to how well it had been maintained over the years.

Everything on this SC430 is close to perfect. The Millennium Silver paint just gleams and is almost completely free of any imperfections. The chrome sparkles and has no pitting. Inside the Ecru leather seats show no signs of wear. The same for the door panels, dashboard, sun visors etc. The Birdseye Maple wood is beautiful and free of any cracks, chips or fading. Driving this car is exactly as you would imagine. The 300 horsepower 4.3 liter V8 is so smooth you can barely feel it idle. When you accelerate it has strong smooth power and barely perceptible shifts from the 5 speed automatic transmission. The air conditioning blows out ice cold and the engine temperature never goes above normal. The original mark Levinson audio system sounds beautiful and the top works perfectly. Literally this is a car you could jump into and drive across country in and do it with confidence.
