When we learned of this Mark VII LSC we were amazed and impressed with its condition, low mileage and originality. These were highly specialized cars designed for the performance enthusiast who also wanted a personal luxury coupe. Powered by the same engine that's in the Mustang GT, the 5.0 liter V8 produces 225 horsepower and 300 lbs of touque. In 1991 a very impressive power rating. These cars drive completely different than the standard Mark VII. They have much firmer steering. The air suspension is much firmer and it has Recaro style bucket seats. The exterior has reduced chrome accents, BBS style wheels, and LSC badging. They are impressively quiet, have every luxury feature available while still maintaining grand touring handling. Most of these cars have high miles, heavily modified and are abused. This one is 100% original. Only 43,000 miles and in show quality condition.

Previously owned by a Lincoln enthusiast and collector it was meticulously maintained. Just prior to our purchasing it he had it serviced; that included:

Oil / filter change
New battery
Four new Michelin tires

In fact the new tires only had 200 miles put on them before we received the car.

As with every car at Pedigree when it arrived it received a thorough inspection and service. For us to get the car ready for sale we had performed:

Replace instrument cluster bulbs
Replace Serpentine belt
Replace turn signal switch end cap

Such little work was needed because the car had been so well maintained. Driving this Lincoln is an absolute pleasure. It does not feel like it is 33 years old. There is not a squeak or rattle to be found, there is no wind noise and it performs beautifully. On the day we photographed it the outside temperature was over 90°, the air conditioning was blowing ice cold and the engine temperature stayed right in the middle of where it should.

This is a modern classic that can be driven daily and reliably. It also would be ideal to show and it has the potential to receive many awards. Examples like this are hardly seen anymore. Its new owner we'll take a lot of pride in it, enjoy driving it, and will receive many compliments.
