Pedigree Motorcars is proud to offer this beautiful 1979 Lincoln Mark V Collector Series. For details and information contact Ken Baker via phone or text at 561-866-1601.
1979 was the last year of the traditional large Lincoln Mark V. To commemorate the end of the era, Lincoln offered the Collector Series. A very special edition that offered unique features. Offered only in White or Midnight Blue Metallic Paint complimented by Midnight Blue Cloth Bucket Seats. The Collector Series had gold lettering, a gold grill and gold striping. These special edition's also had unique bucket seats, a center console, leather trimmed dash, Power lumbar on the driver's seat, Passenger seat recline, turbine wheels, Landau ½ vinyl roof, opera lights, Leather bound owner's manual with a Lincoln pen, and a leather-bound tool kit. Of the 6262 Collector Series produced, 3,900 were built in this color.
This Mark V was built on December 19, 1978 and was ordered by Union LINOLN-MERCURY INC in Little Rock, Arkansas. It was ordered with:
• Power Moonroof
• Steel Belted Radial White Sidewall Tires
• Conventional Spare Tire
• CB Radio
• Illuminated Outside Thermometer Mirror
• Front License Plate Bracket
• Midnight Blue Premium Bodyside Moldings
This example is in beautiful condition and it drives as beautifully as it looks. All of our cars received a thorough inspection before they go on the market. To get this Mark V ready for sale, we had performed:
• Replace carburetor
• Change fluids
• Replace drive belts
• Replace passenger seat motor
This Lincoln is now ready for its new owner to drive and enjoy daily. We recently took it on a 150 mile road trip and it performed brilliantly. With the exception of the cruise control everything works, including the clock, electric radio antenna, and glass sunroof. Even in 90 degree heat the air conditioning blows ice cold and there have been no issues.
These special edition Mark V's have been escalating in value. According to Hagerty Insurance, ultra low mile examples are now selling for close to $50,000. This is an excellent opportunity to own this 46,000 mile example at an affordable price of $29,500.
At Pedigree we show cars by appointment only. To arrange your private showing contact Ken Baker at 561-866-1601.
