Presented here is a highly originally final year of the iconic 450SL. This magnificent example has been meticulously maintained and is well documented. It comes complete with its original window sticker, showing a price in 1980 of $36,000. Also included is the original bill of sale and dealer PDI sheet. All the original books are included as well as a hard top tool, the hardtop, and the original factory spare tire and wheel. It appears that the original spare tire has never been on the ground.

The silver blue metallic paint is magnificent and believed to be all original. There are hardly any blemishes to be found and incredibly impressive considering it is 41 years old. Inside the natural leather is in beautiful condition, it is still soft and supple, and the dashboard is free of any cracks. The wood in the center consul is still in beautiful condition as are all of the controls and graphics. The dark blue convertible top is in great shape and has many years of life left to it. This 450SL is stunning in this color combination and its new owner will be proud.

Equally impressive is the mechanical condition of this car. It runs and drives beautifully. It's idle is incredibly smooth, you could barely feel the transmission shift, and the air conditioning blows out cold.
