The E3 20 Cabriolet is the last of the truly handmade high quality Mercedes-Benz four passenger convertibles. These cars are rapidly rising in value and are becoming harder and harder to find good ones at an affordable price. This example was sold new in Florida and eventually was owned by a collector who used it on weekends in good weather in Pennsylvania.

When we acquired this car we were very pleased to receive the documentation that the wire harness and the hydraulics had been serviced within the past two years. These are two issues on these cars that need attention and if they haven't been done they will need to be.

This beautiful convertible is in traditional Mercedes-Benz colors of white with gray leather and a black convertible top. As with all of our cars it received a thorough inspection and service prior to us putting it on the market. To get this car ready for sale we had performed:

Change oil and filter
Replace wiper blade
Replace driver's door seat switches
Replace air conditioning expansion valve and recharge the system
Mount and balance for new Michelin tires
Front end alignment
Replace battery
Replace overhead courtesy light
Replace crankshaft and knock sensor
Replace radio antenna
Replace convertible top headliner

Over $5000 was spent to bring this car up-to-date and make it turnkey for its new owner. It is now ready to be driven and enjoyed.

These are splendid driving cars. They are incredibly smooth, tight, and well mannered at any speed. You can feel the traditional Mercedes-Benz quality in every aspect of the car. The convertible top is fully automatic and simple to operate. The air conditioning blows ice cold as one would expect. Inside, the original soft leather has held up beautifully and shows barely any signs of wear. There's plenty of legroom and headroom and is very comfortable on a long-distance cruise.

When these cars were new they were priced it over $85,000, and exceedingly expensive car for its time. The quality of these cars endors and they can last for decades with the proper maintenance and being driven.
